Duane Kent Nelson, MD
Dr. Duane Kent Nelson earned his medical degree at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where he performed his surgical internship. He then completed his residency in orthopaedics at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
A fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Nelson is a licensed physician in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Illinois.
He has nearly 20 years of orthopaedic experience in Siouxland as a partner in Northwest Iowa Orthopedics and owner of Nelson Orthopedics in Sioux City. Most recently, Dr. Nelson was in practice at Mid-America Orthopedics in Wichita, Kansas.
